Founded by Tyler Gregory

Hello, I'm Tyler Gregory! It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm the founder and owner of Casket Sharp.

I was born and raised in Corbin, Kentucky, in the southeast corner of the state (606, baby!). Upon graduating from Corbin High School, I enrolled in barber school in 2016. After graduating in 2017, I moved to Lexington, KY, and began working at a local barbershop. Throughout my 5 years as a barber, my goal was to one day own my own barbershop and create the products that I thought other people would enjoy.

With the support from my family and friends, I created Casket Sharp's original product, the "Clay of the Commonwealth" in 2021. With the support of my incredible clients, I was able to open up Casket Sharp Barbershop in the heart of downtown Lexington in May of 2022. 

How'd we get the name, you may ask?

For awhile in my teenage years, I lived in Sylacauga, Alabama. Sylacauga had all the southern charm you could imagine-- it felt like a step back in time, where presentability was of the utmost importance. During Homecoming week, we had a "formal day," so of course, we showed up to school in suits. My teammate on the basketball team said I looked "casket-sharp!" and despite not knowing what that meant, I knew it implied that I must look pretty spiffy.

At Casket Sharp, we take pride in making people feel and look their best. We love the smiles, the good vibes, and a little bit of funk to spruce up the day.
